The aim of the service is to provide accurate and evidence-based information on food and nutrition-related issues, through the promotion of good eating habits or in dietary treatment of diseases and disorders.
The service provides one-to-one consultations within a wide variety of settings including schools, children’s centres, patients’ homes, voluntary and community groups, as well as at Mile End Hospital.
How to get an appointment
To see a dietitian a referral is required from your GP or in some cases, referral from another health professional. The service is available Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
