Information about mental health

Many of us are familiar with the need to look after our physical health.  It is also beginning to be more widely recognised that we need to look after our mental health as well.

This section provides an overview of some of the issues that many of us will face throughout our lives.

Often when faced with distress, we feel alone and that no one will understand how we are feeling. Talking to other people who have had similar experiences or to someone who can listen to us can provide real relief. We hope that the information provided below will support you to begin seeking help with the distress you are facing.
