Audiology

We provide services to people of all ages and abilities with hearing and balance difficulties.

 

What services are provided?

 

  • Standard and advanced audiometry,
  • Ear mould impressions, fitting of hearing aids and follow ups for new clients,
  • Hearing aid repairs, review, replacement and battery exchange,
  • Ear mould retubing and reassessment,
  • Hearing therapy,
  • Auditory training, lip reading assessment for environmental equipment,
  • Tinnitus counselling, support and management rehabilitation for the dizzy patient,
  • Paediatric assessment and school screening.

 

Where are the services provided?

 

Audiology takes place at The Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel, with clinics at Mile End Hospital and in various community centres. We also offer home visits.

Hearing aid repairs and rehabilitation takes place at:

  • Gill Street Clinic E14
  • Wellington Way Centre E3
  • Ruston Street Clinic E14
  • Steel’s Lane Health Centre E1
  • Newby Place Centre E14
  • Bethnal Green Clinic E2
  • Island Health Centre E14

 

How to get an appointment


New patients must be referred to us by their family doctor/GP. However, existing patients can contact the team directly for an appointment or follow-up.
