The National Pandemic Flu Service was launched in England, in July 2009, to provide assessment and treatment for people suffering from swine flu.
With the number of swine flu cases now falling, the service stoped offering assessments on 11 February 2010.
What should I do if I think I've got swine flu?
From 11 February 2010 if you think you have swine flu symptoms, you should stay at home and contact your GP who will be able to assess you and authorise antivirals if you need them. These will remain available through your local antiviral collections points until further notice.
Local antiviral collection points are located at:
Mile End Hospital Pharmacy, Bancroft Unit, First Floor, Mile End Hospital, Bancroft Road, London E1 4DG. Open Monday-Friday, from 12pm-5pm.
Whitechapel Walk-in Centre, next to the A&E department at The Royal London Hospital, 174 Whitechapel Road, London E1 1BZ. Open Saturday and Sunday, from 9am-10pm .
Your GP will also be able to advise you on vaccination.
