Going abroad on holiday? Advice on travel vaccinations

Before travelling abroad it is important that you check whether or not you need to be immunised against some of the serious diseases that are found in other parts of the world or take other preventive measures such as malaria tablets.

 

Planning your trip

 

Some vaccinations can take time to become effective, so you should seek advice from your doctor, practice nurse or local pharmacist at least eight weeks before you travel.
