One of the roles of NHS Tower
Hamlets is to ensure that your GP practice offers high quality services for
patients. To monitor their progress and quality, GP practices are assessed
annually against various criteria. The results are brought together in one
place, the 'GP balanced scorecard'.
What is a
balanced scorecard?
The scorecard allows people in Tower
Hamlets to see how well individual GP practices are providing services. The scorecard presents information
on:
-
the accessibility and availability
of services,
-
the services a practice delivers to
keep people healthy such as immunisations and cancer screening.
Practices are either given a mark
out of 100 (a percentage) on how they are doing, or awarded a grade of A, B or C
(with A being the top grade).
Data has been gathered from a number
of sources, including patient surveys, the Department of Health and from the practice itself.

information

information other than the balanced scorecard. Contact information for
