The ‘Annual safeguarding children report 2008-09’ describes the main issues, risks and key priorities for safeguarding children within Tower Hamlets’ healthcare services.
The NHS Tower Hamlets board receives and considers each year this report on safeguarding children arrangements. The purpose of the report is to assure the board that the NHS Tower Hamlets is meeting its responsibilities to safeguard and promote the welfare of children in line with legislation and best practice.
The report was presented to and agreed by the NHS Tower Hamlets board that met on 9 July 2009.
