NHS Tower Hamlets has submitted its 'core standards declaration for 2008/2009' to the Care Quality Commission, the government’s health watchdog in England.
The declaration shows where we have complied with national healthcare standards on issues such as hygiene, health and safety, and cost effectiveness, and is one of the measures used by the Commission to asses our annual performance.
This year for the first time we provided separate declarations for both our commissioning arm and our provider services arm.
