Our performance

NHS Tower Hamlets is committed to providing the best possible healthcare to the people of our borough. We have a responsibility to commission high quality services that take account of best practice and clinical quality, and which reduce health inequalities.

Most improved GPs in 2009

 

 

Annual residents' survey 2009

 

  • More than 1,000 local people were interviewed as part of the annual residents’ survey in February 2009.

  • 65 per cent said health services are good to excellent, up from 59 per cent in 2007/8.

 

Complaints and compliments 2008-09

 

  • 2008-09 we received 82 complaints, a 34% increase on the previous year.

  • 94% (77) of the complaints received were acknowledged within the two-day timescale for responses.

  • 60% (49) of these complaints were responded to within the 25 day response timescale.

  • We received 57 compliments through the complaints department.
