A new development is planned at Newby Place in London E14, which will provide state-of-the-art facilities to accommodate a wide range of GP, health and community services, as part of the Tower Hamlets improving health and well-being strategy.
The centre will enable teams of healthcare professionals to work together in an environment that is conducive to the delivery of modern, high-quality health care.
The existing Newby Place building will be demolished and the site cleared to enable the new centre to be built.
Services currently operating out of Newby Place will move in August 2008.
Services affected
Clinical services that are affected include:
- audiology,
- family planning clinic,
- podiatry (foot health),
- leg ulcer clinics, and
- baby immunisation clinics.
These service teams will be moving to the nearby All Saints GP practice in Robin Hood Lane.
Your services and clinics will operate in the same way at the Robin Hood Lane facility.
