About us

Local GP
We are bringing more local doctors and practice staff to east London and the City and improving premises near to where people live

The three primary care trusts serving the City and Hackney, Newham and Tower Hamlets are, from 1 April, working together as NHS East London and the City.

Staff in these three high performing primary care trusts have joined forces to improve health and health services for local people, to work in partnership with local authorities, and to support the development of GP commissioning consortia.

We have a single board which is accountable for ensuring the responsibilities of our three
primary care trusts are carried out during this time of change across the NHS.
